Md. Nazmul Hasan Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Mr. MD Nazmul Hasan Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer of IIDFC Securities Limited is a veteran of Bangladesh Capital Market having more than 15 years of experience in Capital Market Sales and Wealth Management. Mr. Chowdhury possesses a proven ability to formulate strategies to meet the organization’s financial goals. During his career, he has demonstrated superior relationship management and negotiation skills in liaisons with banks, financial institutions, and regulators.
Prior to joining IIDFC Securities Limited, Mr. Chowdhury served LankaBangla Securities Limited as AGM Business Development for 5 years. During his journey in LankaBangla Securities Limited, he successfully developed superior strategies for onboarding new clients and advised them with market insights to help investment decision-making. He also received the “Outstanding Performance” award several times during his career in LankaBangla Securities Limited.
Mr. MD Nazmul Hasan Chowdhury started his capital market career in LankaBangla Securities in 2008 afterward he served some renowned brokerage houses in the country namely Phoenix Securities Limited, BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Limited, and UCB Capital Management Limited. Besides his sales and wealth management activities, he dealt with the concept of Premium Brokerage, Cross Selling Model, Principle Protected Investment Scheme, and sell-side market analysis.
Before joining the workforce, Mr. Chowdhury completed his MBA & BBA (Marketing) with distinction at the University of Dhaka. He was also awarded the Erasmus Mundus scholarship sponsored by European Commission while taking Fellowship from Corvinus University, Hungary. Apart from his academic background, Mr. Chowdhury attended various training on Derivatives Applications, Sales Development, Fundamental & Technical Analysis, Automated Trading systems, etc.
Mr. Mia. Md. Abdullah,Vice President and Head of Trading
Mr. Mia. Md. Abdullah is serving as Vice President and Head of Trading with 30 years of experience, he has been an important member of the IIDFC Securities family. He started his career with Global Securities Ltd in 1994. Being an experienced stock broker in the market for challenging opportunities, he is always keen on acquiring new knowledge and skills to help maximize revenue through stock dealings and other financial ventures. Mr. Abdullah is committed to effective and innovative management techniques to ensure the success of IIDFC Securities Ltd.
He completed his MBA (finance) from a reputed University. Apart from his academic background, he participated in various training programs and workshops from different regulatory and professional bodies. With his trading expertise, IIDFC Securities Ltd. continues to drive smoothly through the capital market and its opportunities and challenges for the days ahead.
Mr. Md. Maruf Hossain Khan,AVP and Head of Accounts
Md. Maruf Hossain Khan Joined IIDFC Securities Limited in September 2010 as Deputy Manager in the Finance & Accounts Department. He started his career at a multinational listed company i.e. Heidelberg Cement Bangladesh Limited in October 2006. He has more than 18 years of Finance and Accounting experience. Also, He has extensive experience in preparing financial statements, monitoring daily cash transactions, developing annual budgets, and recording all financial activities including secretarial matters of the Company. He has an ability to conduct analytical reviews of financial statements and familiar with internal control requirements in different environments. He is capable to organize, direct and control of all financial operations and formulating policies and guidelines for the proper functioning of the company.
Before joining the employment, Mr. Khan completed his Honors and Masters in Accounting and MBA in Finance. He also completed the Chartered Accountancy Article-ship from Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Company, Chartered Accountant. He passed the CA Certificate level (CL) under ICAB. Apart from his academic and professional background, he participated in various training programs and workshops from different regulatory and professional bodies.
Mr. A B M Rakibul Hassan,Senior Manager
Mr. A B M Rakibul Hassan Joined IIDFC Securities Limited in October 2010 as Assistant Manager in the HR and Administration Department. He started his career at a multinational company i.e. G4S in August 2003. He has more than 20 years of HR and Administration as well as Accounting experience. Also, He has extensive experience in overall administrative work, developing annual budgets for HR & admins, etc.
Before joining the employment, Mr. Rakibul completed his BBA and MBA in Finance from Dhaka University. Apart from his academic and professional background, he participated in various training programs and workshops from different regulatory & professional bodies.
